Context
This lens assesses the percentage of graduates who go on to paid (non-voluntary) work, with a job offer on graduation day. This gives an indication not only of the strength of the programme’s reputation, but the quality of its intake, and its connections to industry.
Source of Data
Institutions were invited to submit data via the International Trade Survey. They were asked to use the most recent survey of their programme’s alumni, and that the offer of employment should have been present upon graduation. Where institutions did not provide this data, we used the QS internal reference as follows:
- Graduate Employment Rate - 2024 Global MBA & Business School Rankings, matched by institution name and programme name.
- If no direct matches by programme, we use the institution’s Graduate Employment Rate from 2024 QS World University Rankings, matched by institution.
- If no matches by institutions in WUR 2024, we use the minimum recorded rate for the country (or region, if the number of domestic data points are insufficient).
