To be published in our inaugural edition of QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, one of the inclusion criteria used was based on SDG-related research output. Paper thresholds per SDG are presented below.
Please see the methods pages for each of the lenses in this ranking to then understand how, after applying these thresholds, we then look for minimum scoring across different SDGs.
* Based on the lowest quartile of the number of papers published in 2016-2020, indexed by Scopus and classified by Elsevier under the relevant SDG. Quartiles are calculated on a subset of institutions eligible for QS World University Rankings: Sustainability.
